Choose among the following:
Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay, Cathedral, Qoricancha, San Pedro Market, Chocolate Museum, Coffee Museum.
Sacsayhuaman: This enigmatic and megalithic archeological site demonstrates the pinnacle of ancient engineering. It features massive stones (some reported to weigh as much as 200 tons) that were fit together with expert and mind-boggling precision. The site also affords perhaps the best view of the city of Cusco below.
Q’enko: A short walk from Sacsayhuaman, this small archeological site is known for it it’s amazing cave/tunnel system, which was hewn out of natural rock formations.
Pukapukara: Its name means ”red fortress” in the Quechua language. It was used a guard post or check-point during the Inkan empire.
Tambomachay: This site was a temple dedicated to the element of water, and also may have served as a retreat location for the Inka nobility.
Qoricancha: Located in the heart of Cusco city, this ancient site was the most sacred and revered temple in the Andes during ancient times. Here it is possible to see a fusion between the advanced, ancient Andean construction and the later colonial era works built by the Catholic Church.

Ollantaytambo: Besides Cusco city, this town is the only other modern town that is built directly upon the ancient settlement. It features an impressive ceremonial site with advanced, megalithic architecture, and a spectacular view that makes worthwhile the climb of approximately 200 stone steps.
Moray- This is one of the more enigmatic of the ancient sites in the area. It is comprised of perfect circular terraces hewn deep into the Earth. Many theories exist as to its original purpose– from an agricultural reseach center, to metaphysical temple– though no one really knows for sure.
Maras Salineras – In use since ancient times, these salt flats are reknowned for producing the delicious and healthy Andean Pink salt, and offer visitors a picturesque view into a time-honored practice.
